March 16th 2013 - Third Birthday Party!

It was our birthday, but we wanted Tom's Trust to get the presents.

We were very excited about our birthday but, being very well brought up girls, we decided to give our birthday presents to someone who needed them more. So, if customers booked 3 treatments on the day, we donated the full cost of the third treatment to Tom's Trust. Our generous visitors enabled us to give £170 to this very worthwhile charity, and also got the chance to win beauty products, a fabulous pampering session or a make-over!

Our happy little team of therapists were on hand to offer free mini-treatments, pink fizz and birthday cake and a chance for guests to just relax in our beautiful salon, so everyone had a simply wonderful time!

Massage Medley

On 13th September 2012, we again welcomed Wallace Cancer Care to Dragonfly for an evening of massage, relaxation, fun and fund raising.

Our fantastic therapists spent the evening treating our guests to wonderfully relaxing mini-massages whilst Sports Therapist Teresa Bufton demonstrated the technique and benefits of massage - explaining how it can help you not only physically, but emotionally too.

Our many attendees enjoyed not only the massages and demonstrations, but some pink fizz and nibbles too! Several lucky winners walked away with prizes ranging from a Spa pamper day to Dr.Hauschka gift packs. And, of course, everyone received a fabulous goodie bag to take home with them.

We raised nearly £400 for Wallace Cancer Care and are very much looking forward to welcoming them back again soon!

May 17th 2012 - Wonderful Women!

We held a fabulous evening which was all about women, for women and raising funds for women.

During the event lots of ladies, including lots of new faces, pampered themselves with mini treatments, enjoyed some pink fizz and delightful cakes (all made by the WI, of course!) and got to take home a lovely goodie bag to remind them of the evening.

We raised over £160 for the WI, and can't wait to team up with them again!

Discover Dr.Hauschka evening with Wallace Cancer Care

On September 15th 2011, we welcomed Wallace Cancer Care to Dragonfly for an evening of fun, food, fundraising and feeling good!

Our friendly therapists were on hand to talk to the assembled guests about Dr.Hauschka, which included a master class in how to use the products, with a free facial kit to take home. Several lucky ladies also received a make-over using Dr.Hauschka products and most visitors welcomed a hand massage and a shape and paint.

Needless to say, we all enjoyed pink fizz, nibbles and (including mini apple crumbles!) and everyone got a goodie bag to take home. We raised over £200 for Wallace and look forward to welcoming them back to Dragonfly again soon.

May 12th 2011- Bumps and Babies

Dragonfly has been a firm favourite with expectant mums since we first opened. Our 'pitter patter preparation' packages offer total relaxation for mum, natural products that won't harm baby and include help to keep those now hard to reach feet in top condition!

Therefore it seemed a perfectly natural idea for us to join up with the National Childbirth Trust for an evening of fun, relaxation, demonstrations and fundraising. As well as being able to try out some mini versions of the mother-to-be treatments, we had talks from the NCT, our fabulous reflexologist Julia and our senior therapists on products and how they can help during pregnancy and beyond.

Lots of the other shops at Burwash Manor opened for the occasion, plus we provided drinks and nibbles (an incredibly wide range of cakes, all very well received!) and a little goodie bag to take home. So everyone had a great time, and we managed to raise money, as well!
