March 17th 2012 - Second Birthday Party!

It's our birthday, but we want to give you lots of presents!

It only seems like only yesterday that we opened our door for the first time, but it's been two years since our fabulous Day Spa at Burwash Manor started offering a unique mix of relaxing, therapeutic (and sometimes essential!) treatments. So to celebrate, we are holding a birthday party - and you're invited!

Pink fizz and birthday cake will be on offer, plus the chance to try some mini treatments and have a chat with our friendly team of therapists. And we'll make sure you remember us, by giving you a fabulous goodie bag to take home.

As it's all about being open for two years, we will have an incredible offer 'buy two get two free' on all treatments* giving all our visitors a chance to book anything from a Dr.Hauschka facial to a Shellac manicure.

We'll also have a free prize draw so if you fancy winning beauty products, a make-over or a fabulous pampering session, make sure you come and join the party!

Yoga at Dragonfly

Starting October 2011, yoga classes with Georgie! Classes will be on Tuesdays - 6.15pm - 7.15pm.

Discover Dr.Hauschka evening with Wallace Cancer Care

On September 15th 2011, we welcomed Wallace Cancer Care to Dragonfly for an evening of fun, food, fundraising and feeling good!

Our friendly therapists were on hand to talk to the assembled guests about Dr.Hauschka, which included a master class in how to use the products, with a free facial kit to take home. Several lucky ladies also received a make-over using Dr.Hauschka products and most visitors welcomed a hand massage and a shape and paint.

Needless to say, we all enjoyed pink fizz, nibbles and (including mini apple crumbles!) and everyone got a goodie bag to take home. We raised over £200 for Wallace and look forward to welcoming them back to Dragonfly again soon.

May 12th 2011- Bumps and Babies

Dragonfly has been a firm favourite with expectant mums since we first opened. Our 'pitter patter preparation' packages offer total relaxation for mum, natural products that won't harm baby and include help to keep those now hard to reach feet in top condition!

Therefore it seemed a perfectly natural idea for us to join up with the National Childbirth Trust for an evening of fun, relaxation, demonstrations and fundraising. As well as being able to try out some mini versions of the mother-to-be treatments, we had talks from the NCT, our fabulous reflexologist Julia and our senior therapists on products and how they can help during pregnancy and beyond.

Lots of the other shops at Burwash Manor opened for the occasion, plus we provided drinks and nibbles (an incredibly wide range of cakes, all very well received!) and a little goodie bag to take home. So everyone had a great time, and we managed to raise money, as well!

January 20th 2011 - Detox with Dragonfly

We invited you to recover from the festivities and treat yourself to an evening of cleansing, detoxifying indulgence as our therapists demonstrated and discussed our wonderful treatments in aid of local charity, Wallace Cancer Care.

Our beautiful salon offered lots of detox-y drinks (with blueberry and peach being the firm favourite smoothie!) and nibbles throughout the event, our visitors received at least one free mini-treatment, and we gave them a fantastic goodie bag to take home!

With entry costing just £10, we were thrilled to make £344 for Wallace Cancer Care. So, thanks for ditching the toxins whilst making a difference, and we hope you all felt really good about yourselves!
